Recycling and reprocessing injection moulding wastes directly without preliminary compounding in you

Updated: Feb 27, 2020

Union-1100BC was developed in response to the enormous environmental problem with the plastic today. It is not only applicable for a wide range of plastics, but also simplifies the compounding procedure of the recycled plastics, therefore delivering an elevated economic value for your recycled materials. Furthermore, the use of Union-1100BC will deliver the recycled plastics not only satisfactory but also much more stable physical and mechanical properties over the conventional additives. Union 1100, a recycling additive specifically designed for the purpose of plastic recycling and reprocessing. Union 1100 provides the possibility to recycle and reprocess injection moulding waste materials directly in your factory. Taking PC/ABS as an example, you need first to collect the waste materials from the previous injection moulding production. Then crush the waste material into smaller granules and sent for drying to remove the moisture inside. Mix the waste material, union 1100 and virgin material, which is optional. Homogenise the mixture and then is ready for next injection moulding. Note that unlike regular recycling procedures, preliminary compounding is not needed! Which means, utilising Union 1100 saves time and cost and additionally the life time of the plastic material – a good solution for plastic recycling.
