Photochromic Pigment

Colour appears when exposed to sunlight or UV

The photochromic products change colours when exposed to sunlight/UV, and revert to their original colours when the sunlight/UV is dimmed or blocked. The changed molecule structure of photochromic pigments after absorption of sunlight/UV allows a colour appears, whereas it reverts to the original molecule structure and colour once the light stimulation is dimmed or blocked. Our photochromic pigment passed EN-71 & RoHS and is safe for food grade packing and toys. More technical details and applications, if needed ...

Available Products

Photochromic dye: Photochromic dye does not react to sunlight/UV and needs to be dissolved in a medium (solvent, resin, or polymer) to function. Polarity of the medium is directly related to the colour.

Photochromic Slurry: Photochromic slurry is microencapsulated aqueous dispersion with good dispersal in water, which is suitable for water based paint.

Photochromic Microcapsulated Powder: Photochromic microencapsulated powder contains less than 3% of moisture, suitable for solvent/aqueous based ink/paint
