Customised Recycling Additives

There is no additive suitable for recycling and reprocessing all plastic materials, in particular when aiming at >20 times recycling. No additive could modify the recycled plastic materials with physical and mechanical properties fitting all kinds of products. Here, we will design and develop a recycling additive according to your request.

UNION-1100BC, 1250BC and 1500BC Series

Union-1100BC, 1250BC and 1500BC were developed in response to the enormous environmental problem with the plastic today. It is not only applicable for a wide range of plastics, but also simplifies the compounding procedure of the recycled plastics, therefore delivering an elevated economic value for your recycled materials. Furthermore, the use of Union-1100BC, 1200BC and 1500BC will deliver the recycled plastics not only satisfactory but also much more stable physical and mechanical properties over the conventional additives.

Use Union1100BC, 1250BC or 1500BC Series?

The timing of using Union1100BC, 1250BC or 1500BC usually depends on the status of recycled plastic materials. It is generally recommended to use Union 1500BC or a mixture of 1500BC and 1200BC. The older the recycled materials or the more times the plastic materials are recycled, the higher the proportion of Union 1200BC is recommended. The use of Union 1100BC is recommended only for those recycled plastic materials, which are in a seriously poor condition. More concretely, these recycled plastic needed to be treated with Union1100BC would look like peeling skin or is very sticky to the surface of the machine during injection moulding and extrusion. 

UNION-1100BC

Introduction

  • UNION-1100 BC is a LDPE-based multifunctional modifier additive.

  • UNION-1100 BC works by catching free radicals and repairing broken molecular chains. Besides, it can also avoid side-effects such as fish eyes or gel. 

  • UNION-1100 BC can also increase lubricity when processing the products via extrusion, injection moulding, film blowing, spinning…etc.

 

Instruction

  • UNION-1100 BC can be widely applied for various kinds of plastics. For example, ABS, PC, PC/ABS, PC/PBT, PBT, PET, Nylon, TPR …etc.

  • Recommended dosage: 1~3%, 1.5% is the most recommended dosage.

Package and storage

  • UNION-1100 BC is available in the pellet form, packed first in the plastic bag and then with a paper bag outside. Each bag contains 25 kg of UNION-1100 BC pellets and should be stored at a cool dry place.

UNION-1250BC Series

Introduction

  • UNION-1250 BC is an Olefin-based multifunctional modifier additive.

  • UNION-1250 BC works by catching free radicals and repairing broken molecular chains. Furthermore, it can also avoid side-effects such as fish eyes or gel during processing.

  • UNION-1250 BC can also increase lubricity when processing the plastic material via extrusion, injection molding, film blowing, spinning…etc.

  • UNION-1250 BC enables to reprocess the recycled scrap without preliminary compounding when simply mixed with recycled scrap (best with diameter <5mm). The reduced number of plastic compounding/ processing saves not only the time, energy and cost significantly but also extends the lifetime of the plastic material substantially. Namely, each time of compounding/ reprocessing of plastic materials may cause a degrading effect by the shear forces and the thermal impact.

  • UNION-1250 BC can not only homogenise the viscosity of recycled materials (since the origin/ viscosity of the recycled materials usually vary largely) but also lubricate them, helping a lot with the further processing of the recycled materials.

  • UNION-1250 BC, which is capable of minimising the floating fibre phenomenon, can be applied for the plastic materials with low fibre contents and free of fibre.

  • UNION-1250 BC can increase the mechanical strength and transparency of recycled PET, PBT and Nylon, which largely decrease the risk of yellowing.

  • UNION-1250 BC can minimise the formation of silver streaks, which is resulted from the vapourisation of residual water due to incomplete drying during processing of the plastic material.

Additive Designed for Multi-Times (>20 Times) Recycling of a Defined Polymeric Material

UNION-1500BC PP

  • UNION-1500 BC PP is especially suitalble for recovery the multi-times recycled and reprocessed PP materials.

  • UNION-1500BC PP is suitable for all polymeric materails.

  • UNION-1500BC PP improve the physical and mechanical properties of recycled polymeric materials, except PP, generally less effective than polymer specific 1500BC additives, such as 1500BC-PC, 1500BC-PET...etc. UNION-1500 BC PP can especially increase lubricity when processing the plastic material via extrusion, injection moulding, film blowing, spinning…etc.

  • It can be used in combination with other polymer specific 1500BC additives to improve the results of modifications. The total dosage of 1500BC PP together with the polymer specific 1500BC additive should never exceed 1% w/w.

UNION-1500BC PC

  • UNION-1500 BC PC is suitalble for (multi-times) recycling and reprocessing PC and PC containing alloys e.g. PC-ABS, PC-PBT... .

  • UNION-1500 BC PC can be used in combination with UNION-1500BC PP

  • The total dosage of 1500BC PC together with and without the polymer specific 1500BC PP should never exceed 1%.

UNION-1400BC PET

UNION-1500BC PBT

  • UNION-1500 BC PBT is suitalble for (multi-times) recycling and reprocessing PBT materials.

  • UNION-1500 BC PBT can be used in combination with UNION-1500BC PP

  • The total dosage of 1500BC PBT together with and without the polymer specific 1500BC PP should never exceed 1%.

UNION-1500BC Nylon

  • UNION-1500 BC nylon is suitalble for (multi-times) recycling and reprocessing Nylon materials.

  • UNION-1500 BC nylon can be used in combination with UNION-1500BC PP

  • The total dosage of 1500BC nylon together with and without the polymer specific 1500BC PP should never exceed 1%.

UNION-1500BC AS

  • UNION-1500 BC AS is suitalble for (multi-times) recycling and reprocessing ABS and PS materials.

  • UNION-1500 BC AS can be used in combination with UNION-1500BC PP

  • The total dosage of 1500BC AS together with and without the polymer specific 1500BC PP should never exceed 1%.

UNION-1500BC TPU (still under construction)

  • UNION-1500 BC TPU is suitalble for (multi-times) recycling and reprocessing TPU materials.

  • UNION-1500 BC TPU can be used in combination with UNION-1500BC PP

  • The total dosage of 1500BC AS together with and without the polymer specific 1500BC PP should never exceed 1%.
