Polymer alloy/ polymer blend technology is one of our best R&D expertise, which is a combination of more than two polymeric materials taking advantage of either physical blending or chemical modification with the objective to improve the functional properties of a pure single polymer. Polymer alloy will e.g. allow the material owns higher specific strength, higher specific modulus or lower specific gravity, becoming highly competitive engineering materails in plastic industryPolymer alloys/ Polymer blends currently available from our previous R&D achievements are:

 

PVC/NBR alloy

In terms of material performance

Largely enhanced flexibility, oil and abrasion resistance, abrasive and cold bendability as compared to pure PVC, 

Suitable products

Oil seal, oil tubing for cars and motorcycles, sole of snow and work shoes.

PVC/TPU alloy

In terms of processability

The processability and fluidity and the degree of detail of the product appearance will be largely enhanced.

In terms of material performance

The flexibility, toughness and resistance against oil and abrasion hydrolysis will be largely enhanced.

Suitable products

Rigid and semi-rigid PVC shell, wire and cable jacket, sheet, pipe…etc.

TPU/PVC alloy

In terms of processability

The melting viscosity of TPU can be stabilised and the processing stability, releasability and dimensional stability of products during processing will be highly enhanced as compared to pure PVC.

In terms of material performance

The resistance against flame and hydrolysis will be largely improved. 

Suitable products

Wire and cable jacket, pneumatic tube, TPU plate and TPU sheet

TPU/NBR alloy

In terms of processability

The melting viscosity of TPU can be stabilised and the processing time can be largely extended. Also the processing stability and releasability will be largely elevated.

In terms of material performance

The resistance against heat, flame, hydrolysis, oil and chemicals will be largely improved. The alloys will provide TPU excellent flexibility and cold bendability.

Suitable products

Products requiring very high bendability such as wire jacket, over mold.

 

 

TPR/TPU alloy

In terms of processability

The melting viscosity, thermal stability and thermal dimentional stability can be largely enhanced;

In terms of material performance

The abradability, bending resistance and tear resistance of TPR will be largely enhanced. Most important of all, the specific matte effect on the surface of TPR materials can be retained.

Suitable products

Coming soon... Mats or artificial leather lamination layer, TRP sheet...etc.
