Application of coloured glow in the dark powder, glow in the dark powder to paints, coatings...

1. The glow in the dark powder itself does not have any tackiness. Therefore, it can only be mixed with resins such as paints, coatings, adhesives, etc., and then coated via spraying, painting and coating. For their application onto the surface of various materials, the adhesion and binding strength is determined by singly the nature of resin i.e. paint, coating, adhesive ...etc.

2. The content of glow in the dark powder is recommended to be at least 15% or even 30% by weight of dry film ingredients. 3. If the surface of the dry film is acquired to be possibly flat and smooth, the thickness of the dry film is recommended to be at least 100 µm. 4. Glow in the dark pigment itself has a good dispersibility in both polar and non-polar glues.

5. The (coloured) glow in the dark powder with a diameter smaller than 150 mesh could be mixed homogeneously with a a resin with a viscosity of more than 2000 cps with precipitation and sedimentation. However, there will be sedimentation with (coloured) glow in the dark powder with a particle larger than 150 mesh.

6. Coloured glow in the dark powder generally has an upper limit of baking temperature of 80°C for 30 minutes. When incorporated into a high viscosity resin, such as polymer clay (FIMO), it can barely bake at 110°C for 30 minutes.

7. The processing temperature of glow in the dark powder YA, YC, BA series could reach up to 1000℃.
